I have been struggling with doubt lately, and so I have been trying to understand it from an energetic point of view.  I was interested to find that Doubt is one of the Five Hinderances in Buddhism:

Buddhism speaks loudly to purpose, and doubt is clearly a way of blocking us from standing firmly on the road towards purpose.  I am making progress on my curriculum and now suddenly I feel like it is all useless, that no one will use it.  That it is not going to connect meaningfully with the kids, and so one and so forth.  It makes me want to just delete everything and walk away.  Have a simple life, without all this effort to create something meaningful.
