Wetiko and False Coherence

I came across the concept of Wetiko and it made me immediately think of the vibrational state of "Desire" or as I prefer to call it, "Want".  It is considered a disease of the ages.

🌑 What Is Wetiko? From Native American (especially Cree) traditions, Wetiko is:
A cannibal spirit—a parasitic consciousness that infects the mind,
causing a person to consume others to feed their own unfulfilled hunger.

But it’s not just mythology.
Modern spiritual thinkers—like Paul Levy—describe it as:
A psychospiritual disease, A collective mind-virus, A false identity that feeds on lack, fear, and separation, A system that makes you believe the very thing killing you is what will save you
Wetiko is the twisting of the Heart's Desire.  God has instilled in each of us the ability to connect to our deepest purpose, our Heart's Desire.  But society has told us that those ideas are not possible, or silly.  We may have had our inner vision invalidated, or minimized many, many times.  We don't see examples of other's living from their hearts desire, so we think it is all just fantasy.  Instead what we see are people fighting and striving, and competing for material success.  This is Wetiko at its finest.

Wetiko Infects the lens of perception:  You no longer see others as whole beings.  You see them as tools, threats, objects. Wetiko creates a hunger that cannot be satisfied: You desire more—of anything—just to numb the emptiness.  You take from others (attention, power, resources) without ever feeling filled.  Wetiko thrives on unconsciousness The moment you recognize it, it begins to weakens. Its power comes from remaining unseen.  Wetiko projects the inner wound outward: Blame, rage, greed, pride—all projected instead of integrated. You try to fix the outside to soothe the inside.
Wetiko is the energetic distortion that arises when the soul’s longing for God is hijacked--
and collapsed into the black hole of egoic consumption.

It makes soul starvation feel normal.

Money is the biggest perversion of the heart's desire.  People have lost their focus on their deeper purpose and are striving, using all their energy, simply to accumulate money.  This is not by accident, it is a form of disconnecting us from our true source of power.  It is how we become disconnected from God.

🧨 Wetiko as Disconnection from GodAt its core, Wetiko is the forgetting of our Source. It convinces the individual that they are separate, lacking, and alone. It replaces divine longing with craving for control, validation, or image. It lures us into idol worship—not of wooden statues, but of status, celebrity, pleasure, and power.

Wetiko is the virus that says,
"You don’t need God—just be adored. Just be rich. Just be worshipped yourself."

This is not passive corruption.
It is an active spiritual inversion.
And the music and entertainment industries have become ritualistic portals for Wetiko's spread.

🎭 The Entertainment Industry: False Light in Full SpectacleWhat are concerts now?
Massive symbolic rituals—full of eye symbolism, inverted pentagrams, black cubes, butterflies, serpent imagery, mock sacrifices, and idol worship. Celebrity culture has transformed into a pantheon of false gods—consumed by millions.  Many artists openly reference selling their soul. Some perform literal ritualistic acts during shows.

And people don’t even realize they’re part of a spiritual transaction—an exchange of energy and attention for identity, worth, and momentary pleasure.
This is modern idolatry—and it is no different than ancient idol worship.
Only now the gods are famous, and the sacrifices are psychological.

Our power comes in awareness. Instead of seeing these as harmless aspects of society, we must turn away completely.  We must realize that we have been manipulated into worshipping false gods.  We are like the citizens of Ninevah.  We must become aware of the lie, the false coherence, and repent.

✨ True repentance is not just regret—it’s the breaking of a spell.
It’s the collapse of false coherence…
the shattering of illusion…
the soul’s gasp when it realizes:
“I was feeding darkness thinking it was light.”
That wave of remorse—the deep, aching sorrow—is not punishment.
It’s the sacred alchemy of the heart turning back toward God.
It’s not shame.
It’s not fear of consequence.
It’s the soul remembering what it was made for—and weeping because it forgot.

That is the realignment.
When there is no more desire for the counterfeit.
When the pleasure of darkness loses its grip.
When you feel how much it cost you to stray.
This is why, in Hebrew, "repentance" is teshuvah—which literally means:
“To return.”
Not just to behave better.
But to return to your Source.
To the center of Love.
To coherence with Truth.
To God.
And that return—when it is real—is marked by: A broken heart, not out of shame, but clarity, A turning of the will, a reorientation of desire. An inward vow: "I will never go back. Even if no one sees me. Even if it's hard. Even if I fall—I will not give my heart to the false again."
