Living a creative, spontaneous life can mean a lot of things to different folks.  I recently was introduced to the book Improv Wisdom: Don't Prepare, Just Show Up.  It has a wonderful way of putting in words how so much of my life has been lived.

She has 13 maxims she outlines in her guide to living a creative life.

These are great ways to live a beautiful, spontaneous, heart centered life.

This is considered by some to be the most powerful full moon of the year.  Let's harness the energy and charge up our creative projects together.

In creating we are truly using our imagination to bring something into existence.  This sounds a lot like the process of Manifestation spoken of by so many spiritual teachers.

I have been playing particularly with the idea of the power of words.  

I give you a challenge on your creative journey this week to write a poem, or some sort of affirmations using the words of your future, desired outcome.

We had fun at our New Moon session doing just that, and I created another song bringing together the image of love engaged community.

Now it is your turn to do the same for your desire.  Don't be afraid to share it with others.

I have looked into my hearts desire and seen
A picture of what the world could be

APRIL CREATIVITY CHALLENGE!!!

 We invite you to join in a fun challenge to bring more joy into your life.

To begin, just pick one or more creative activities to do each day for the month of April.  Maybe try writing a poem, or song, or draw one picture a day.  They don't have to be good.

Just do one (or more) creative activity each day for the next thirty days.

I personally started this challenge at the beginning of 2021 and decided to write one poem, draw one picture, and write one song each day.  It was a big surprise to me that what I continued was not the drawing, or poetry (actually I am not a poet at all) but the songwriting stuck.

Perhaps you will try with multiple options, and then end off with one, or maybe you will continue to switch around.  The creative activities do not have to be elaborate, but do keep a journal of some sort so you can look at what is emerging from your creative subconscious. Creativity is more than just fun, it is a way to tap into that deep inner creator.  How do I create what I want in the world?

I recently have been focusing my creative energies on this concept. I listened to a book by Neville Goddard (search his stuff on youtube) on the power of thoughts.  I have seen this tendency for thoughts to materialize in the world, so why not make my thoughts be more loving, kind and filled with abundance.

THE SPEECH OF FULFILLED DESIRES

The Heart Math Institute has now been in operation for over a decade, sharing their work on the power of Heart-Brain coherence.  This energetic state is associated with deep peace, connection, and clarity.

Try this exercise to connect with what greater heart-coherence can bring into your life.

First, focus on your heart center in the middle of your chest. 
This is your energetic heart. 
Breathe in to that center, slowly. 
Keep this slow breathing, while you focus on your heart.  Look behind your eyes, do you see anything, colors? Images?  

Do this until you feel peaceful, elevated.  You are now putting yourself into a higher vibrational state.

Now ask yourself this question:

If I were able to maintain a higher vibration i n my daily life, what could be different?
