Loving the Self

The first step on the spiritual journey is to love thyself.

This is not about narcissistic self-aggrandizement.  It is about truly connecting to the truth of the self, knowing and identifying the higher self.  This is the purpose of our first course of the year. 

It is amazing that we are almost at 2023, and the new year always fills me with a renewed motivations to address the goals, projects, and even those limiting beliefs and shadows that may be blocking me from living my best life.  

For the past 3 years we have hosted our course Strengthening Your Spiritual Core, A Journey to Self Love.  The purpose of this is to recognize the importance of knowing the true self when walking the spiritual path.  It is easy to get caught up in some of the superstition or fears of a world that only honors the material.  When we know ourselves, we can journey in the astral realms without fear of losing that connection to our core.  We can always have discernment, turning back to ourselves for the answers when we are lost.  But until we truly know our true selves, and love ourselves, we do not have that anchor to return us safely home.

Once again we will be coming together to explore the most significant person in each of our lives, ourselves.  This year we will also have online content available for those who would like to go further in their exploration.  

We have traditionally held our sessions either on or close to the new and full moons.  The experience with this, from my perspective, is that using the earths natural rhythms in this work has power for supporting the awakening of self.  Our ultimate goal is to become aware of our own inner desires, and to open up the avenues for constant connection to that higher self.  Using the natural rhythms of the moon cycles will facilitate this.
